Partnership with German company increases manufacturers scope

Chemical manufacturer and distributor, Airedale Group, has agreed a deal with the German-based surface specialist, Haug Chemie to bring their range of specialist surface solutions to the UK. 

Airedale Group already provides niche products for the metal surface treatment industry and is now extending that offering to include chemistry for a greater variety of industries from automotive production to medical devices. 

Haug Chemie was founded almost 60 years ago and now has sites around Europe, providing pre-treatment chemicals such as lubricants, paint removers and corrosion protection as well as products for surface coating and cleaning. 

Airedale Group’s commercial director, Daniel Marr, explains: “This partnership will be a great way for us to provide new and existing customers with a broader range of surface treatment chemistry, providing a one-stop solution for anyone who needs to prepare or treat surfaces. 

“The Haug Chemie products we’ll be supplying are fantastic quality and we’re pleased that the business shares many of the same priorities as we do at Airedale Group. They are well-established in Germany and like us, have long-standing customers who return to them decade after decade, achieved by placing the customer experience at the top of the list.”

The agreement initially involves a selection of Haug Chemie’s top-selling products but is expected to grow with their range containing over 100 items.
