New grinding exhibition announced

Grinding Technology Japan 2019

The grinding processing expertise exhibition will be held at Makuhari Messe Exhibition Hall 1, Chiba, Japan for 3 days from 18th to 20th 2019 and thereafter every two years.

Grinding is a processing technology that is responsible for the finishing process, so high accuracy and high quality are required. For this reason, high performance is required for machinery, tools, software and peripheral equipment, along with the high skill required for operators manipulating them. This high-level know-how is not found in other processing fields.

Grinding Technology Japan 2019 is an exhibition for engineers, technicians engaged in grinding processing, researchers of grinding processing and people who intend to learn about them.

Grinding Technology Japan 2019 will feature the sponsored “Cutting Forum 21,” composed mainly of members of the regrinding industry. Members of the same · Forum have high grinding processing technology and know-how respectively and provide original products and technologies based on them. Many techniques related to cutting tool manufacturing will also be exhibited.

At the event, the Abrasive Processing Society, which is active as a main research subject in the grinding process field, will participate as a “special cooperation” organisation. There is no room to argue that theoretical backing is important in addition to technology and skill to advance grinding processing. The Abrasive Processing Society will discuss the theory of processing as well as the future of grinding technology.
